For the launch of the BAIC Beijing X7 crossover, the biggest challenge was earning market trust in its durability and reliability. In a crowded segment where buyers prioritize longevity, the brand needed to prove more than technological innovation.
The goal was to give the X7 a clear identity that conveyed strength, resilience and dependability—positioning it as a tough, trustworthy vehicle built for the long run.

Helio created the bold campaign “Rise of the Tough Survivor”. To personify the X7’s durability, we used the rhinoceros as a central metaphor—a universal symbol of strength, endurance and toughness. By connecting the X7’s confident design and solid engineering with the rhino’s image, the campaign built an immediate emotional connection. This creative idea made the vehicle’s resilience far more memorable than simply listing technical specs.
